Membrane Separation Boxes made of Ceramics
Porous ceramic materials are used e.g. with electrochemical processes, in order to separate anode- and kathode-room. They are especially used in the shape of boxes or cylinders, sometimes as plates. In these conditions the requirements are as follows:
Examples of application are the manufacturing of potassium-gold(I)-cyanide and of tetrachloro-gold(III)-acid ("goldchloride"). Many other applications are known.
These diaphragm boxes made of ceramics can be delivered in nearly all geometric forms.
